🚀 About the Role

Position: Data Specialist (Independent Contractor)
Duration: 6 to 9 months
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Note: This role is BYOD—requiring access to your personal laptop.

🎯 Major Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve data quality for multilingual text classifiers.
• Collaborate with linguistics and engineering teams to develop parsers across languages.
• Translate various taxonomies such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations.
• Read and write in Hebrew with proficiency.
• Understand syntax and structural analysis of languages.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data cleanup, vlookups, and advanced functions.
• Apply query languages such as SQL for data retrieval and management.
• Write rules using RegEx for text pattern matching.
• Have knowledge of text analysis or machine learning principles.
• Analyze data using tools like Excel or Python.
• Maintain high tolerance for repetitive and monotonous work.
• Follow complex instructions, work independently, and navigate ambiguity.
• Display a strong sense of urgency and excellent time management.
• Own a reliable laptop and internet access.

🎓 Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or related fields (preferred).
• Fluency in both English and Thai (spoken and written) is required.
