Exciting Opportunity: Cybersecurity Customer Support Specialist

Join our team to play a vital role in managing client inquiries, enhancing security practices, and building strong relationships in a bilingual environment. 🚀

🔍 Essential Functions:

  • Manage & Triage: Handle incoming client inquiries and track progress until resolution.
  • Collaborate with Security Engineers: Gather technical insights and translate them into clear client-facing responses.
  • Client Interface: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers on cybersecurity topics.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Identify requirements and pain points to align security solutions accordingly.
  • Lead & Support Discussions: Conduct customer meetings, status updates, and incident briefings in both English and Japanese.
  • Provide Guidance: Advise customers on security best practices, tools, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain trusted partnerships to boost satisfaction and service quality.
  • Monitor Security Systems: Oversee firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus tools to detect breaches or anomalies.
  • Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents, investigate breaches, document findings, and implement corrective measures.
  • Security Compliance: Maintain adherence to both global and local security standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Record incidents, investigations, and solutions; generate reports for management and regulators.
  • Support Security Tools: Assist with the rollout of new tools in Japan and support existing systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancement and work with teams to implement changes.
  • Continuous Communication: Conduct regular updates and assist with root cause analysis and Kaizen initiatives.

🎓 Requirements:

  • College degree 🎓
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical role; prior Technical Lead experience is a plus
  • Proven experience engaging directly with customers/stakeholders 💬
  • Ability to communicate technical cybersecurity topics clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English 🈹🈵
  • Experience working with clients and managing supplier relationships
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

🌟 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, or IT support (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+)
  • Experience working between US and Japan business environments
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.

💰 Compensation & Location

Salary: From $60,000.00 per year
