Job Opportunity: Payment Operations / Client Onboarding Coordinator

Join a dynamic team as a Payment Operations / Client Onboarding Coordinator and play a crucial role in managing operational support and client onboarding processes while working remotely. 💼✨

Location and Compensation

  • Location: Remote
  • Pay Rate: $60 - $68/hr
  • Duration: 12 Months (Potential to extend & convert)

Work Environment

This role involves providing operational business support, project managing partner onboarding, training partners on our tools and systems, leading new product implementations, and resolving escalated customer issues. You will be managing relationships with complex, large partners while mentoring junior team members. 🌐🤝

Job Summary

As a key player in the team, you will:

  • Support partners with operational processes and projects
  • Lead initiatives to implement new products, releases, and solutions
  • Resolve escalated customer issues promptly
  • Coach and train Account Executives (AEs), especially new hires
  • Identify opportunities for department improvements and process enhancements

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage unique and complex partners with strategic importance
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on Authorization, settlement applications, and internal systems
  • Lead department projects supporting company-wide initiatives
  • Support leadership with data analysis and metrics-driven improvement strategies
  • Oversee full lifecycle process improvements impacting multiple functions
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and technical staff to prioritize initiatives
  • Bridge gaps between teams, processes, and systems to minimize failures
  • Mentor and coach peers and Account Executives, facilitating training sessions
  • Continuously seek and implement department improvements, ensuring client impact is positive

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify, you should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years' experience in Payments, financial services, or related domain
  • Or in lieu of a degree, 12+ years' experience in Payments or financial services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Spanish (must); intermediate to fluent English required
  • Proven expertise as a Payments Subject Matter Expert with strong record of operational excellence and process improvements
