What You'll Do 📝

Be part of the team behind innovative language training solutions. Your role involves:

• Creating engaging training content including eLearning tools, lectures, discussions, exercises, readings, case studies, role plays, and demonstrations.
• Developing material aligned with language analyst tasks and client needs.
• Collaborating with instructors and developers to design, develop, and document language and domain-specific training materials.
• Designing practical evaluations to assess student mastery of learning or performance objectives.
• Researching and leveraging classified and unclassified domain‑specific language resources for authentic content.
• Utilizing technology (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Creative Suite) to produce blended learning materials integrating online, asynchronous, and self-paced instructions.
• Partnering with SIGINT operations and technical experts to develop and refine language training materials.
• Recommending learning tools and applications to enhance training delivery.

Qualifications 🎓

• B.A./B.S. in Language, Area Studies, Education, Education Technology, ISD, or related discipline.
• Native-level capability and minimum ILR level 4 in reading, listening, and speaking in Russian, with at least ILR level 2 in English OR native English speaker with ILR level 3 in Russian (recent documentation required).
• At least five (5) years of experience, including:
  • Three (3) years in SIGINT or Intelligence Community as a language analyst or instructor.
  • Two (2) years within the last 6 years developing and updating language training materials following ISD principles.
• Additional experience can substitute for degree requirements:
  • Four (4) years of practical experience (total of 9 years).
• One (1) year of experience with typing using foreign language fonts and software.
• One (1) year experience in instructional systems design, including web-based or distance learning technologies (e.g., Blackboard, Centra).

Desired Skills 🌟

• One (1) year experience with digital audio editing tools such as Audacity or Sound Forge.

Compensation 💰

The salary range for this role is $78,700 – $165,200.
