LifeBridge Health Is Hiring A CREDENTIALING COORDINATOR

Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

• Manages the documentation of the credentialing process at initial and/or reappointment for all LBH providers at all LifeBridge Health sites.
• May perform complex credentialing functions and support in accordance with established policies and procedures, Joint Commission, NCQA and State of Maryland requirements
• Coordinates ,manages and approves all aspects of the initial and/or reappointment process for all LBH providers within the departmental assignments.
• Participates in Joint Commission, CMS and Regulatory surveys

Job Requirements

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
• CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) certification preferred when eligible by NAMSS (National Association of Medical Staff Services)
• 3-5 years experience in hospital, physician practice or managed care credentialing
• Prefer experience with ECHO credentialing software
