Country Manager Italy - Pure Flow Processing Division
Join us as a strategic leader to propel our growth in Italy, overseeing sales, profitability, and the entire country organization within the Division.
Your Responsibilities and Tasks 🚀
- Achieve Targets: Manage and deliver the yearly sales, operational income (OI), and EBITDA budgets for Italy.
- Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the Italian Country Organization to ensure top performance in sales and service.
- Global and Local Alignment: Act as the main contact for the Division or Business Units, aligning global strategies with local execution.
- Stakeholder Relations: Handle site-related matters and maintain effective relationships with public authorities and institutional stakeholders.
- Strategy Development: Support the creation and implementation of the group-wide divisional strategy, enriched with local market insights.
- Business Results: Drive strategic plan execution to enhance business outcomes for GEA in Italy.
- Sales & Service Oversight: Oversee all sales and service activities, optimizing cross-selling across the GEA portfolio.
- Team Building: Lead the management and sales teams, fostering a state-of-the-art organizational structure.
- Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Translate regional strategies into detailed country and sales plans, manage budgets, and execute initiatives.
- Market Expansion: Perform national market analyses, identify growth opportunities, and expand application areas.
- Key Account Management: Identify and manage national key accounts to maximize volume, cross-selling, and major contracts negotiations.
- Compliance & Relationships: Ensure adherence to policies and laws, while nurturing strong customer relationships across industries.
Your Profile and Qualifications 🎯
Educational Background 🎓
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related technical field preferred.
- MBA strongly preferred.
Professional Knowledge & Experience 🏢
- Minimum 10 years of international experience in sales, service, or general management, focusing on country-level leadership.
- Strong background in B2B environments, preferably in the machinery industry.
- Proven expertise in business development and managing complex change processes.
- Track record of leading international and local sales & service teams, driving growth.
- Experience in manufacturing and engineering sectors, selling complex technical products and value-added services.
- Solid commercial acumen and familiarity with legal procedures related to restructuring, labor law, health & safety, and commercial regulations.

- Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages advantageous.
