Objectives of this Role:

• 🚀 Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with high-volume workloads and tight deadlines
• 🔍 Continuously elevate Arabic 1st copy to connect authentically with our audience and drive engagement
• 🎯 Adapt voice, style, and messaging for different channels and diverse audiences
• 🧠 Maintain current knowledge of communication trends and best practices
• 🎨 Stay aligned with Deliveroo’s style guidelines and brand voice for consistency

Responsibilities:

• 📝 Interpret creative briefs to craft compelling concepts in Arabic (1st)
• 🤝 Collaborate with the brand and marketing teams to develop Arabic copy and campaign captions
• 📧 Generate Arabic copy for CRM and owned channels in partnership with marketing
• 🔁 Translate content fluently between English and Arabic, with a focus on strong Arabic copywriting
• 🎙 Research and understand customer needs in the UAE and Kuwait, tailoring dialects (Khaliji and others) for regional relevance
• ✍️ Produce original Arabic content and refine existing materials across marketing platforms
• 🎤 Present concepts and final copy to team members, incorporating feedback efficiently

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 🖋️ 2-3 years of professional Arabic copywriting experience with an impressive portfolio
• 🔎 Strong research and writing skills
• ⏱️ Ability to work independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines
• 📂 Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, Arabic, English, communications, or literature
• 📝 Proofreading experience and familiarity with style guides
• 🖥️ Experience with content management systems
• 👁️ Meticulous attention to detail and appreciation for good design
