About the Role

As a Construction Manager at Hatch, you will be responsible for executing project assignments, managing engineering and construction services, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You will lead project teams, coordinate with clients, and oversee water and sewer infrastructure projects, including the construction and rehabilitation of water treatment and storage facilities, as well as heavy industrial projects. 🌊🏗️

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful completion of construction activities according to project schedule
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients
• Manage teams including Field Representatives and Project Managers
• Review shop drawings, render design drawings, and supervise the build phase
• Troubleshoot all phases of heavy construction and operations
• Schedule and lead job meetings, both onsite and virtual
• Generate pay applications, work directives, change orders, cost estimates, bid tabs, and project schedules
• Coordinate with contractors and schedule required equipment
• Oversee quality assurance by inspecting work, reviewing subcontractors' QA/QC programs, and coordinating with quality supervisors
• Authorize onsite decisions, resolving questions with sound judgment and engineering input when needed
• Communicate engineering questions and project updates to management

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years in Construction Management
• Preferred background: Heavy industrial or steel industry experience, multi-discipline site management on large-scale EPC/EPCM projects
• Education: Bachelor's or Technical Degree preferred

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Regional Manager.

Salary Range 💰

$140,000 - $190,000
