Position Overview: Collector II 🏦

The Collector II will handle calls regarding past due mortgage and maintenance accounts, including third-party servicing and collections, via phone and mail. The role emphasizes collection activities while adhering to all State and Federal laws. You will assist owners in understanding their contracts and manage collection activities in accordance with company and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities 🎯

• Conduct collection activities to maintain acceptable delinquency percentages as directed by financial management
• Maintain required phone activity levels, contact rates, and other performance metrics
• Handle owner communications legally, ethically, and confidentially, including correspondence and payments received
• Keep detailed, organized documentation related to owner accounts and request skip tracing as needed
• Assist fellow team members with daily processes and procedures

Qualifications ✔️

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet federal and state licensing requirements
• Flexible schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm

Preferred Capabilities & Experience 🌟

• Over 6 months of collections, customer service, or sales experience
• Skip tracing experience
• Experience in timeshare, financial services, or banking sectors
