Job Description

This role requires fluency in both written and spoken language, specifically in English and Spanish.

Position Overview

The Case Manager will offer ongoing on-site services aimed at supporting asylum-seeking families in resettlement efforts without solely relying on city-provided housing. They will play a vital role in meeting the needs of families at the sanctuary hotel site, including assisting with family relocations. The case manager will work with individuals and families confronting challenges such as economic hardship, mental health issues, or child welfare concerns. 🤝

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, human services, or an equivalent from an accredited college
  • At least two years’ experience working with youth and/or families who are immigrants, refugees, or other vulnerable populations
  • Experience in shelter or residential settings required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends with a staggered schedule
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong conversational and writing skills in both languages 📚
