  • Job Title: Business Operations Analyst, Marketing and Media VP Office
  • Job Summary: As our Marketing and Media team expands, we need dedicated operational and analytical support to help streamline planning, budgeting, and execution processes. This role supports core planning tasks, conducts analysis to inform leadership, and ensures key operations run smoothly. You'll combine hands-on analysis with operational ownership, making a significant impact in creating an engaging environment for Pokémon enthusiasts.

What You’ll Do 🎯

  • Own and evolve operational and analytical tools supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting within Marketing and Media.
  • Perform analysis using Excel-based models to interpret data from budgets, financials, resourcing, and other datasets.
  • Develop structured models, trackers, and automation—including advanced Excel logic or scripts—to assist leadership in evaluating scenarios.
  • Support planning cycles, quarterly reviews (QBRs), goal setting, and performance discussions by synthesizing data into clear insights.
  • Prepare concise, leadership-ready summaries and decision-oriented narratives based on analytical outputs.
  • Create and maintain presentation templates, ensure content accuracy, and support organization-wide meetings and events.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for meetings, offsites, conferences, and logistics.
  • Act as a reliable operational point of contact for the VP Office, ensuring processes, deadlines, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Handle sensitive matters discreetly with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Provide in-office operational support and perform additional duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring 🌟

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, operations, or planning roles
  • Japanese language proficiency (e.g., JLPT Level 1+), with cultural awareness when working with Japanese stakeholders
  • Hands-on, proactive approach, contributing wherever necessary to ensure operational success
  • Strong analytical skills, especially with Excel models, datasets, and reporting cycles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience conducting applied business or operational analysis with accuracy
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing inputs and timelines
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities
  • Preferred: Experience in Japanese and US corporate environments, budgeting/planning exposure, advanced Excel techniques (e.g., VBA, automation)

Compensation & Benefits 💰

Starting salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,194 annually, with a full range up to $150,207. Final compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
