About the Role
We're seeking a Business Development Manager based in Manhattan, NY, Los Angeles, CA, or San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate should be open to traveling up to 70% domestically to explore new markets, develop store concepts, and negotiate real estate deals.
Essential Duties
Business Development 💼
- Identify and research new business opportunities to support company growth
- Analyze market conditions and industry trends to inform strategic directions
- Develop and present innovative business plans based on research findings
- Expand and enhance existing business channels
- Represent the company in communications with partners and external stakeholders
- Review, draft, and coordinate contracts with vendors, partners, and third parties
Store Development 🏢
- Lead site development initiatives for various brands
- Coordinate and communicate with brokers, developers, landlords, and vendors throughout development
- Conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and develop presentation materials to support decision-making
Other Responsibilities 🔧
- Support the CEO as a Task Force member on strategic initiatives
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Working Conditions & Location
Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
This role involves frequent domestic travel, approximately 70% of the time, to visit potential store sites, attend meetings, and conduct research.

Compensation & Benefits 💰
Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000

Qualifications 📋
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, expansion, or strategy within the restaurant industry
- Excellent negotiation, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically as needed
- Real estate or site development experience is a plus
