Location: Flushing (NYC), Long Island, Westchester County
Type: Hybrid (initial 3 months onsite training, then flexible remote work)

📝 Job Description
The Business Advisor (Korean Speaker) plays a vital role in fostering relationships with small businesses, generating loan pipelines, and providing personalized coaching. This position involves pre-screening loan applications, managing loan portfolios, and conducting outreach and educational workshops within the community.
💼 Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 (depending on experience)

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Build partnerships with small business owners, associations, and community groups through outreach and local events
- Provide personalized business counseling, analyzing financial statements and cash flow guidance
- Assist clients with REDC loan application preparation and submission
- Monitor and manage the performance of the loan portfolio, conducting follow-ups as needed
- Conduct site visits to assess client operations and business needs
- Organize and facilitate workshops for small business owners
- Maintain close contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and anticipate financing needs
- Accurately enter and track client information in Salesforce, maintaining confidentiality
- Attend to punctuality and attendance, performing other duties as assigned
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or community development
- Fluent in English and Korean
- Knowledge of tax reports, P&L statements, and account statements
- Experience in outreach, marketing, or promotion of services to generate leads
- Minimum 2 years in small business counseling, lending, economic development, or entrepreneurship (preferred)
- Experience managing a small business (formal or informal)
- Strong understanding of local businesses/resources in Flushing, Long Island, and Westchester County
- Excellent client management, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Willingness to travel within specified regions
- Commitment to confidentiality and community service
