About the Role

Are you passionate about helping local businesses thrive? Spectrum Business is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to connect small and medium-sized businesses with vital communication solutions, including Internet, video, and voice services. Use your sales expertise to expand our customer base within your dedicated territory and make a meaningful impact!

🌟 How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Generate and cultivate sales leads using diverse prospecting tactics, guiding each from initial contact to sale closure.
  • Drive new customer acquisition by promoting and selling bundled services like Internet, video, and voice within your assigned area.
  • Implement and execute a Territory Plan under the guidance of the Sales Manager to strategically grow Spectrum Business's customer base.
  • Utilize order management software such as Salesforce.com to process sales efficiently and collaborate with Account Coordinators on administrative needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities to maximize territory potential.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge and strong selling skills, continually learning new techniques to enhance performance.
  • Attend sales meetings and consistently meet or exceed performance standards as outlined by Spectrum Business’s Sales Model.

  • Work in both office and outdoor environments, with potential exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Experience moderate noise levels during daily activities

🎯 What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Knowledge of communications technologies and services, especially telephone and Internet fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Experience: 3+ years in outside sales with high transaction volume and short closing cycles
  • B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform close vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustments

💰 Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is typically between $47,800 and $94,900, with actual offers based on skills, experience, and location. Additionally, there is a commission earnings target starting at $54,000. Many positions are eligible for bonuses and other incentives.
