We are on the lookout for a dynamic, service-oriented leader to manage our East Baltimore branch, ensuring outstanding member experiences, high-performing teams, and operational excellence.
Position Purpose 🎯
The Branch Manager is responsible for executing the credit union’s Member Experience philosophy daily within the branch. They will engage, coach, and focus on delivering top-tier, service-driven interactions. As the key contact for members, the Branch Manager will model consultative relationship building, provide real-time coaching, and take ownership of branch performance and member outcomes.
Key Responsibilities 📝
Member Experience & Service 💬
- Serve as the primary face of the branch, creating a welcoming and hospitable environment
- Model consultative relationship-building to understand and meet member needs
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, supporting staff and member interactions
- Resolve member concerns with care, transparency, and follow-through
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality member experience across all interactions
- Promote growth in membership, deposits, and lending through meaningful engagement
Operations & Performance ⚙️
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong cash controls, security standards, and operational discipline
- Utilize performance data to guide coaching and improve results
- Partner with internal teams to support process improvements and operational efficiency
- Balance operational excellence with a strong focus on member satisfaction
Leadership & Team Development 🌱
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff through ongoing feedback and structured coaching
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement
- Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training
- Participate in hiring and building a service-oriented team
- Address performance concerns in partnership with HR and leadership
- Support organizational initiatives and ensure clear communication within the team

Qualifications 💼
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of banking or credit union experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a financial institution
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Knowledge of credit union regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain Notary and Signature Guarantee
Preferred
- Credit union experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills

Salary Range: $68,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
