Position: Bilingual Territory Sales Manager 📍
Locations: Reside and travel within your geographic area. Territory sizes depend on your state.
- City to reside in/near: Miami, FL
- Territory: Miami, FL and Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Overnight Travel: 40%
Summary 🎯
We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager responsible for growing agency relationships and sales to increase GEICO and affiliated product presence within an assigned area.
Responsibilities 🚀
- Manage agents within your designated area using in-person, virtual, phone, and email communication to build relationships, deliver training, and monitor performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on GEICO products, features, tools, and competitor offerings to increase preference for GEICO’s offerings.
- Translate national strategic initiatives into local goals to boost agent engagement, execution, and growth.
- Deliver effective communication and assist agencies in developing marketing strategies aligned with growth targets.
- Use data analysis to prepare pre-call strategies, focusing on the best opportunities within your area and specific agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate agent performance against goals, procedures, and guidelines.
- Train agency staff on GEICO’s products, services, and value proposition.
- Counsel agents and, with leadership support, take disciplinary actions as needed, including termination.
- Prospect, interview, and approve new agencies to expand our distribution network.
- Adhere to the GEICO Code of Conduct, policies, and operating principles.
- Maintain attendance at the business location to perform job functions and facilitate interaction with team members and management.
Requirements ✅
- Bilingual proficiency is required
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation, including seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking
- Capability to meet in person and virtually
- Strong organizational skills, ability to learn complex procedures, and resolve conflicts effectively
- Compliance with GEICO’s driving standards and policies
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Preferred Experience 🌟
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ sales or relevant insurance experience
- Proven success in owning and driving sales results
- Experience across multiple insurance lines (P&C, Commercial, Life & Health) is a plus
- Bilingual ability is preferred
Compensation 💰
Annual Salary Range: $97,375 – $151,700
This range serves as a general guideline. The final offer considers factors such as role scope, experience, education, market conditions, and location.
