About the Position

This role is essential to delivering exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their needs, answering questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and providing suitable solutions. As a Store Associate, you will ensure customer satisfaction, maintain high product standards, and support the store's sales objectives. This position involves interactions with customers, handling cash and payment methods, and may require access to sensitive items, emphasizing the importance of background checks to ensure safety and integrity. 💼

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent sales service to ensure high customer satisfaction 😊
• Assist customers in person and over the phone to determine needs and recommend products/services
• Build trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail clients
• Process sales transactions accurately, following policies and procedures
• Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
• Pick products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications
• Stock shelves and set up attractive displays
• Clean store equipment
• Support logistics by loading/unloading delivery trucks
• Assist in deliveries when needed
• Maintain presentable and in-stock areas
• Stay informed about our products and discuss available options with customers
• Follow inventory control procedures
• Look for opportunities to enhance sales

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Nice-to-Haves

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
