Position: Home Care Aide

Under the guidance of Staffing and Client Service Managers, Home Care Aides provide compassionate, direct support to older adults in their homes. 🏡

Primary Responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
  • Companionship & Errands: Accompany clients to shopping, errands, or medical appointments
  • Mobility Support: Transfers, ambulation, and exercise assistance
  • Meal Prep: Preparing special diets and feeding support
  • Light Housekeeping: Vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishwashing
  • Medication Reminders
  • Companionship & Emotional Support

Service Requirements

  • Reliable transportation to client sites (car, public transit, etc.)
  • Commitment and consistency in service
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proactive communication with administrative staff

Qualifications

  • Homecare Aide Services Bureau registration (assistance available)
  • Livescan/Fingerprinting clearance and clean background check (assistance provided)
  • Current TB clearance (skin test, X-ray, or blood test)
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (e.g., Driver's License, ID, Social Security Card, US Passport)
  • Proficiency in English
  • At least 1 year of non-medical caregiving experience with elderly or disabled adults

Desired Skills & Certifications

  • Bilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Spanish, Portuguese, or Korean
  • Basic smartphone and technology skills
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)—highly desirable but not required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Students or retirees—LVN or RN backgrounds encouraged to apply

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs with proper body mechanics (training provided)
  • Capability to lift, transfer, push, pull, reach, bend, walk, and reposition

Work Schedule & Compensation

Flexible Hours: Part-Time, Full-Time, 4-8 hour shifts, including weekends
Services available 7 days a week. Your flexibility increases your chances of work!

Hourly Rate: $21 - $23.50/hour
*Note: Compensation varies based on experience, education, and client needs. Benefits and additional pay may apply.*
