Position Overview 📝

An Emerging Markets Account Executive supports new business growth within emerging markets by converting inbound demand and prospecting through referrals. The role involves delivering tailored experiences to clients who may face language barriers, showing how Toast’s platform benefits their operations, and facilitating smooth onboarding.

This role is field-based, working out of a home office, and requires residency in or relocation to Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities 🎯

• Follow up on marketing qualified leads in your assigned market
• Conduct discovery calls and product demos in your customer’s preferred language
• Create and review quotes and contracts in the customer’s preferred language
• Coordinate with onboarding to ensure customer success post-sale
• Analyze the competitive landscape to position Toast effectively

Qualifications & Skills 🛠️

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Previous sales experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset and openness to feedback

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Have ✨

• Experience in restaurant operations
• Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking sales activities

Compensation 💰

The estimated Total Targeted Cash Compensation Range for this role is $119,000—$190,000 USD. This comprises base salary, uncapped commissions, and potential equity or other benefits, depending on experience and location. The starting salary will be tailored accordingly.
