About the Role

Customer Service Specialists collaborate closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Your role is essential in providing exceptional service, resolving customer concerns promptly, and maintaining our high standards for product quality and store presentation. Additionally, you will work towards achieving sales goals while ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.

Location & Compensation

The position involves working at stores within a 15-mile radius of Store #1264, located at 9210 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40242. This is a full-time role with a starting wage of $16.45/hr.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service 😊
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and presenting suitable products and services 📞🤝
• Build trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers 🤝
• Accurately process sales transactions following policies and procedures 💳
• Achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis 🎯
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas 🗂️
• Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse 🚚
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications 🎨
• Stock shelves and set up displays 🛍️
• Clean store equipment 🧼
• Load and unload delivery trucks 🚛
• Assist with deliveries as needed 🚚
• Keep assigned areas in-stock and presentable 🏪
• Stay knowledgeable about our product offerings and options 💡
• Follow inventory control procedures 📋
• Suggest ways to enhance sales growth 📈

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years old 🔞
• Legal authorization to work in the country without sponsorship 📝
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English and Spanish 🗣️✍️
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License 🚗
• Capable of retrieving, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations 🏋️‍♂️
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends 🕑

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED 🎓
• At least 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles 🚶‍♂️💼
• Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products 🎨
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment 🖌️
