Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Recruiter for our light industrial distribution center client. In this role, you'll develop and implement staffing strategies to build a skilled and motivated workforce, ensuring smooth operations through effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives. This position demands a proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach to staffing management in a dynamic environment. 🌟

What You'll Do

  1. 💡 Staffing Strategy Development

    Collaborate with senior leadership to craft staffing plans aligned with operational goals. Identify hiring needs, skill requirements, and timelines.

  2. 🔍 Recruitment and Sourcing

    Lead efforts to attract top talent for roles such as warehouse associates, forklift operators, supervisors, and administrative staff. Develop sourcing strategies tailored to local labor markets and industry trends.

  3. 📝 Onboarding and Training

    Manage onboarding programs to prepare new hires for success. Coordinate safety training, equipment operation, and policy education.

  4. ⚖️ Compliance and Risk Management

    Ensure adherence to employment laws, OSHA standards, and safety guidelines. Develop policies to mitigate staffing risks.

  5. 🗣️ Employee Engagement & Retention

    Create initiatives to enhance satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular check-ins, gather feedback, and recognize achievements.

  6. 📈 Performance Management

    Implement systems to evaluate performance, provide feedback, and support career development. Partner with supervisors to identify training and improvement opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish 🇪🇸
  • Experience in staffing, recruitment, or HR management, preferably in the distribution or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of light industrial staffing best practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 🗣️🤝

Work Environment

This role will be based at our new light industrial distribution center. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to build and manage the workforce. Please note that the environment may involve exposure to warehouse conditions, including noise, dust, and temperature variations. 🌡️🔊
