We are seeking an enthusiastic bilingual (Spanish) professional to support our administrative functions and serve our community effectively.

About the Organization

The Revenue Authority of Prince George’s County is a quasi-governmental agency functioning as a real estate development and finance entity, operating programs and facilities in partnership with other County agencies.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • 📞 Handle Complaints & Inquiries: Receive difficult complaints, provide information, and prepare documentation.
  • 📠 Communicate with the Public: Answer calls and correspondence related to violations, payments, court status, and corrections.
  • 🔍 Account Management: Review account history, update after interactions, and process citations and appeals.
  • 🚗 Motorist Support: Guide motorists on vehicle booting, violations, and related procedures.
  • 📄 Document Processing & Filing: Handle letters, bankruptcy notices, and maintain violation and court request files.
  • ✔️ Verify & Edit Documents: Proofread, verify, and prepare accurate correspondence.
  • 🗂️ Filing & Organization: File documents systematically and manage batch records.
  • 📝 Independent & Referred Actions: Recognize when to act independently or refer to higher authorities.

Minimum Qualifications 🔹 Required

  • 📝 High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 📅 At least 6 months of advanced/technical clerical or administrative experience in a public/customer service environment.
  • 🌐 Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications 🔹 Extra Skills

  • 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 🏢 Knowledge of RAPGC, County government procedures, and agency inter-relationships, or willingness to learn.
  • 🗣️ Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • 🤝 Ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and resolve issues tactfully.
  • 🕒 Strong planning skills to manage work independently and meet deadlines.
  • ⌨️ Typing and data entry proficiency.
  • 😌 Ability to perform under stress and manage occasional high-pressure situations.
  • 🤝 Maintain positive working relationships with employees, officials, vendors, and the public.
