Dell Outdoor is seeking an experienced Pool, Spa & Landscape Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of luxury pool and outdoor living projects—from excavation to final walkthrough. You will ensure each project is completed on time, within budget, and surpasses client expectations with your attention to detail and professionalism.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Oversight
    • Direct and lead crews including CDL Drivers, Crew Leads, and support staff.
    • Lead weekly production meetings to ensure project profitability and performance targets are met.
  • Project & Site Management
    • Oversee all construction phases: layout, excavation, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and final finishes.
    • Supervise internal teams and subcontractors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
    • Perform site visits, enforce safety standards, and verify compliance with design plans and local codes.
    • Coordinate material logistics and maintain detailed usage records.
    • Communicate daily with the Operations Coordinator; manage logs and project documentation via Aspire software.
    • Conduct final walkthroughs, generate punch lists, and oversee resolution processes.
    • Read civil engineering plans and accurately set elevations and grades.
  • Quality Control & Safety
    • Enforce safety protocols and code compliance across all sites.
    • Promote craftsmanship standards and provide field leadership training.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Review project costs, labor efficiency, and gross margins.
    • Assist with financial forecasting and performance reports for the Design & Build division.
  • Cross-Divisional Collaboration
    • Coordinate project handoffs to maintenance teams seamlessly.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Design, and Finance teams for integrated project execution.

🛠️ Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years in construction project management, preferably in pools, landscaping, or outdoor living.
  • Strong knowledge of exterior design, hardscape, softscape, pool construction, grades, and elevation techniques.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, technical specifications, and troubleshooting on-site.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.

Preferred:

  • Pool Builder License
  • OSHA Certification
  • Background in Landscape Architecture or related field

⏰ Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with some weekend work based on project needs and seasonal trends.

🌍 Location

Located on-site across various project sites throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas. Regular travel between locations is required.
