Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about our career areas and divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
- 🤝 Participate in delivering exceptional customer experience by proactively building relationships and proposing suitable products, services, and digital solutions.
- 🏦 Assist customers with opening new accounts, service requests, and credit applications.
- 🎯 Follow directives from managers while exercising judgment within established policies and procedures.
- 📚 Develop a thorough understanding of bank products and services to match customer needs.
- ❤️ Interact with customers to demonstrate care and foster lasting relationships.
- 💡 Provide appropriate options for bank products and services.
- 🔄 Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners when necessary.
- 📋 This SAFE position involves customer contact and may include offering/negotiating terms and processing dwelling secured transactions, complying with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.
Required Qualifications ✅
- 🔹 6+ months of customer interaction experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, education, military service, etc.
- 🔹 Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening).

- 🛎️ Strong customer service skills, capable of handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
- 📞 Experience engaging proactively with customers via phone or email.
- 📱 Ability to educate customers on technology and the benefits of mobile banking.

- 🔗 Skilled at building internal partnerships.
- 🔎 Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and take preventive measures.

- 🎖️ Military experience related to protocol, personnel management, leadership, or human resources.
- 🤝 Experience in sourcing and maintaining customer relationships.
- 🙋♂️ Support users by resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.
Job Expectations 🕰️
- 🗓️ Availability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
- 📝 Passing a required language assessment.
- 💰 Managing cash drawer, handling cash, balancing, and completing service tasks.
- 🔐 Must obtain SAFE registration immediately after employment start date; ongoing compliance required.
- 🚫 Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
