About the Role: Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) 🏦

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Find out more about our career paths at wellsfargojobs.com.

Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Do 💼

  • Build relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience through proactive outreach
  • Assist customers with account openings, service requests, and credit applications
  • Follow managerial guidance while exercising judgment within policies
  • Learn about bank products and tailor solutions to customer needs
  • Demonstrate care and foster strong customer relationships
  • Offer suitable bank products and services, referring customers to specialists as needed
  • Participate in offering/negotiating terms and managing dwelling secured transactions, complying with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act

Required Qualifications 📋

  • 6+ months experience in customer interaction or equivalent through work, training, military, or education
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening)

Preferred Skills and Experience 🌱

  • Strong customer service skills handling complex transactions
  • Experience engaging customers via phone or email
  • Comfort in educating customers about technology and mobile banking
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to meet customer needs
  • Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Proficiency in identifying fraud and managing risk
  • Military experience relevant to protocol, personnel benefits, or leadership
  • Ability to build relationships with internal partners and resolve concerns effectively

Job Expectations & Requirements 🔑

  • Availability to work on most Saturdays
  • Pass required language assessments
  • Handle cash, maintain cash drawer, and perform service tasks
  • Obtain and maintain SAFE registration post-employment
  • Compliance with all licensing, background checks, and regulatory requirements
  • Note: This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
