Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It) 🚀

Be the frontline captain of our packing operations, blending snacks with strategy. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly from the kettle room to the packing crew, coaching like a champion and maintaining high standards every step of the way. Your work impacts every chip bag we send out—so, no pressure (well, maybe just a little).

Team Schedule 🕒

• Dieffenbachs Team C: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
• Shift Hours: 6:50am – 7:00pm (packing Leads may start a few minutes earlier)

What You’ll Do:

• Operate packaging equipment: weights, sealing, film splicing, date coding 🔧
• Support your team to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals ✅
• Promote a collaborative, positive work environment across shifts 🤗
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace 🧼
• Conduct metal detector checks, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure proper product flow ⚙️
• Change film rolls/formers as needed, handle minor equipment troubleshooting 🛠️
• Ensure correct packing per customer specifications (seals, weights, date codes, labels) 📦
• Monitor seasoning levels for quality and consistency 🌶️
• Inspect and hand-pack products at line speed with attention to detail 🔍
• Handle product rework and re-packing tasks as necessary 🔄
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment following training 🏗️
• Accurately document quality checks, production data, and inspections 📝
• Communicate professionally and clearly with team members and supervisors 🗣️
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas per food safety standards 🧴
• Support lunch and break coverage for the team 🍽️
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership 🎯

What We’re Looking For:

• A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude 🌟
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment 💪
• Previous food manufacturing or packing line experience preferred, but not required 🍫
• Leadership experience or a desire to grow into a leadership role 🚀
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for a 12-hour shift ⚖️
• Willingness to work in hot, loud, and occasionally wet conditions 🌡️💧
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards is a plus 📋
