Rate: Starting at $41.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8 AM - 8 PM), Saturdays (8 AM - 5 PM), hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
🌱 About the Role
As a Contractor Outpatient Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals (children and adults) with potential co-occurring diagnoses. You will develop collaborative recovery plans emphasizing substance use and behavioral health, utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing. Your work will be vital in delivering compassionate, high-quality therapeutic support facilitating healing and resilience.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Assessments: Conduct recovery-oriented screenings and bio-psycho-social evaluations, focusing on substance use challenges.
- Therapy Sessions: Facilitate individual and group therapy targeting addictive behaviors and mental health issues using evidence-based approaches.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and case discussions to develop effective treatment strategies.
- Care Planning: Prepare strengths-based treatment plans focused on recovery and wellness.
- Documentation: Complete assessments, reports, and standardized screening tools (e.g., PHQ-9, CAGE-Aid, PTSD scale) in a timely manner.
- Resource Sharing: Update and share community resources with team members.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to program guidelines.
- Professional Development: Attend required training sessions and supervision to enhance skills.
- Compliance: Ensure interactions meet ethical and professional standards, following COMHAR and regulatory guidelines.
- Community Engagement: Support individuals in increasing community involvement, improving quality of life, and achieving independence.
- Caseload Management: Proactively manage cases, ensuring effective care coordination and discharge planning.
🔑 Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field, or certification as an addiction counselor or co-occurring disorders professional.
- Active professional license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or equivalent), or pre-licensed with supervision available.
- Experience in behavioral health and substance use treatment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong reading and writing skills.
- Experience providing mental health or behavioral health therapy.
- Strong clinical documentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload.
- Licensure supervision options are available.
