About the Role

Customer Service Specialists collaborate closely with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly, ensuring maximum satisfaction, and maintaining high standards in product presentation and store appearance. The role also focuses on achieving excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting suitable products and services
  • Build trusting relationships with both wholesale and retail customers
  • Accurately process sales transactions adhering to policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and product formulas
  • Pull, tint, and mix products per customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up attractive displays
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment and environment
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, and assist with deliveries as needed
  • Maintain an in-stock and presentable environment in your assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options confidently
  • Follow inventory control procedures and suggest sales improvements

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements ✅

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
  • Proficient in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and communication)
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications 🌟

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles
  • Experience selling paint or related products
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
