Position Overview
We are hiring married couples to serve as Full-Time Flex Houseparents. This unique, impactful role involves living in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, and support to groups of approximately 8–13 students. Your role is crucial in creating a family-like atmosphere that promotes academic, emotional, and social growth.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Provide daily supervision and mentorship
- Manage household routines and student schedules
- Administer medications and ensure student wellness
- Drive students to activities and participate in recreational and developmental activities
- Lead daily devotions and escort students to Sunday Chapel
- Oversee household budgeting and reporting
Work Schedule & Transition
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition to a Placed Houseparent role, residing and working with the same group of students in their dedicated home.

- Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total compensation of $168,000 per couple, including free housing, meals during duty, utilities, and more)

Qualifications ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couples for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependents in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus (no alcohol while on duty)
- Pet limitations: only fish and one approved breed of dog
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role-model behavior
