Position Overview

We are seeking married couples to serve as Full-Time Flex Houseparents. This impactful career involves living on campus, caring for a group of approximately 8–13 students, and fostering a nurturing, family-like environment that promotes academic, emotional, and social development. 🌟

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision & Mentorship: Providing daily guidance and support to students
• Household Management: Managing routines and schedules
• Health & Wellness: Administering medications and ensuring student well-being
• Transportation & Activities: Driving students to events and engaging in developmental & recreational activities
• Spiritual Leadership: Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel (Judeo-Christian services)
• Household Oversight: Overseeing budgeting and submitting household reports

Initially, houseparents support various student homes with a schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same students in their own home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Maximum of three dependent children living in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Pet limitations: fish and one approved breed dog
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to certify to drive student vans
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong integrity and professionalism; serve as role models for students
