Position Overview 🏡

We are seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this vital role, couples live on campus and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support to groups of approximately 8–13 students within their home. Your efforts help foster a structured, family-like environment crucial for students’ development.

Responsibilities ✨

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and overseeing student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational programs
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Initially, houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school.

In the Placed Houseparent role, couples live and work consistently with the same group of students in their own dedicated home, fostering deeper relationships and stability.

• Salary: $44,768 per person (estimated total of approximately $168,000 per couple annually), including free housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more

Qualifications ✅

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Maximum of three dependent children residing in the home
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Limited pet policy: only fish and one breed-approved dog allowed
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to be certified to drive student vans
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism, serving as role models for students
