Position Overview 💼
We are currently hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique, life-changing role, couples will reside in on-campus student homes, offering care, guidance, supervision, and support to a group of approximately 8–13 students. Your role is vital in creating a structured, family-like environment that nurtures students’ academic, emotional, and social development to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities ✅
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and monitoring student wellness
- Driving students to activities and participating in developmental and recreational events
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing household budgeting and reporting
Work Schedule & Transition 🗓️
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Over time, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their own dedicated home.
Benefits & Compensation 💰
- Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total of $168,000 per couple), including housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more

Qualifications & Requirements 🎓
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married for at least two years (couples only)
- Both spouses must be at least 27 years old
- Residence for no more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol during duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
- Ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing not permitted)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role-model qualities
