Position Overview: Full-time Flex Houseparents ❤️
We are seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, living on campus and providing essential care and mentorship within student homes. This impactful role involves fostering a family-like environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Supervision & Mentorship: Provide daily oversight and guidance to students
- Household Management: Manage routines, schedules, and household chores
- Health & Wellness: Administer medications and support student well-being
- Transportation: Drive students to activities and plan engaging recreational programs
- Spiritual Leadership: Lead daily devotions and take students to Sunday Chapel (Judeo-Christian services)
- Household Operations: Oversee budgeting and household reporting
Work Schedule & Transition 🔄
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Over time, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, residing and working with the same student group in a dedicated home.

- Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total of $168,000 per couple annually)

Qualifications ✨
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couples for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependent children residing in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student vans
- Comfort leading devotions and attending chapel services (proselytizing not permitted)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role model qualities
