Position: Full-Time Flex Houseparents

We are hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this vital and rewarding role, couples live in on-campus student homes, fostering a structured, family-like environment that promotes students’ academic, emotional, and social growth. 🤝👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

Key Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring overall student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational events
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel services
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Work Schedule & Transition

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in a dedicated home. 🏠

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total couple compensation of $168,000), including free housing, meals during duty, utilities, and more 🍽️💸

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Couples who are legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be aged 27 or older
• Maximum of three dependent children allowed in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved dog breed allowed
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
• Willingness to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism, serving as role models for students
