Position: Full-time Flex Houseparents

In this unique career opportunity, couples live on campus and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students, fostering a nurturing, structured environment that supports their academic, emotional, and social growth. ❤️

Key Responsibilities 🎯

  • Providing daily supervision and mentorship
  • Managing household routines and student schedules
  • Administering medications and supporting student wellness
  • Driving students to activities and planning recreational events
  • Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
  • Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Your Work Schedule & Transition 📅

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their own dedicated home.

  • Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total of $168,000 per couple), including free housing, meals during duty hours, utilities, and more

Qualifications ✅

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Ages: both spouses must be at least 27 years old
  • Legally married for at least two years
  • Maximum of three dependent children residing in the student home
  • Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
  • Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
  • Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; serving as role models for students
