Position Overview: Full-Time Flex Houseparents 👩👩👧👦
We are seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this impactful role, couples live in on-campus student homes and support approximately 8–13 students by providing care, guidance, supervision, and mentorship. Your efforts will help create a nurturing, family-like environment that promotes academic, emotional, and social growth.
Responsibilities 📝
- Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
- Manage household routines and student schedules
- Administer medications and oversee student wellness
- Drive students to activities and plan engaging developmental and recreational events
- Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
- Oversee household budgeting and reporting procedures
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents enjoy unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, residing and working with the same group of students in their own home.

- Salary: $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total per couple, inclusive of free housing, meals during duty, utilities, and more)

Qualifications ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet allowances limited to fish and one approved dog breed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to certify to drive student vans
- Comfort leading students in devotions and attending Judeo-Christian chapel services (proselytizing not permitted)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong integrity and professionalism; role model for students
