Position Overview: Full-time Flex Houseparents 🏡
Join our dedicated team of married couples serving as Flex Houseparents—residing in on-campus student homes and making a real difference in students’ lives. This unique role involves providing care, supervision, guidance, and fostering a supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring overall student wellness
- Driving students to activities and planning engaging developmental and recreational events
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel services
- Overseeing household budgeting and reporting
Schedule & Transition
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role where they live and work with the same group of students in their own home.
Benefits & Compensation 💰
- Salary: $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple), including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be 27 years or older
- Limited to no more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one breed-approved dog allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student vans
- Ability to lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role-modeling qualities
