Position Overview: Full-Time Flex Houseparents 🎯
We are seeking committed married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents—a unique, full-time role residing in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, and supervision to groups of approximately 8–13 students. This impactful role helps foster a nurturing, family-like environment that supports students’ academic, emotional, and social growth.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
- Manage household routines and student schedules
- Administer medications and promote student wellness
- Transport students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational programs
- Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
- Oversee household budgeting and reporting
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role where they reside with and support the same group of students in their own home.
Benefits & Compensation 💼💰
- Salary: $44,768 per person (total approximate compensation of $168,000 per couple), includes free housing, meals during duty, utilities, and more

Qualifications & Requirements ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couples for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependent children residing in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: Only fish and one breed-approved dog allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
- Ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism, serving as positive role models
