About the Role

The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking experienced Medicare Sales Field Agents who reside within their designated territory. This field-based position involves engaging directly with community members, leading to trust-building and personalized health solutions. You'll be part of a collaborative team of 812 agents, supported by a Senior Manager and Regional Director dedicated to your success.

Together, you'll help execute Humana’s strategy to deliver quality, differentiate through service, and grow our market presence.

  • Educate individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional coverage options such as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
  • Build trust and provide valuable information through face-to-face interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese — speak, read, and write proficiently in both
  • Residency within the designated local territory
  • Comfortable conducting face-to-face interactions at homes, community events, and retail environments
  • Valid state driver’s license with proof of vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
  • Experience selling Medicare products
  • Public speaking or group presentation skills
  • Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Bilingual proficiency beyond Cantonese and English

Additional Information

🚗 Driving Statement

This role requires maintaining a valid state driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance, with coverage meeting state minimums of at least 25/25/10. A review of driver’s license validity and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted.

🗣️ Language Proficiency Assessment

Non-English speakers must pass a language proficiency test through an external provider, including the federally administered Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test.

⏰ Schedule & Training

  • Must be flexible to accommodate evening and weekend appointments and events.
  • Mandatory attendance for the first five weeks of training.

💰 Compensation & Travel

Estimated full-time annual compensation ranges from $80,000 to $125,000, including base pay and commission. Actual earnings vary based on performance and geographic factors. Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required for training or meetings.
