About the Role
The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents to serve local communities. This is a field-based position requiring residence within the designated territory. You'll join a collaborative team of 812 Medicare Sales Field Agents, working under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director committed to your success. Together, you'll bring Humana's strategy to life: delivering excellence, differentiating through exceptional service, and expanding outreach.
What You'll Do in This Field-Based Role
- Deliver: Educate individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, along with offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage. Build trust through personalized communication.
- Differentiate: Establish meaningful, face-to-face connections via grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, creating a unique and memorable experience that sets Humana apart.
- Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance targets, and enhance Humana's regional presence by becoming a trusted resource and building strong community relationships.

Required Qualifications
- Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese — fluent speaking, reading, and writing skills in both languages
- Reside within the designated local territory to serve the community effectively
- Comfort with face-to-face interactions in members' homes, community events, or retail environments
- Valid driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher per state requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
- Experience selling Medicare products
- Public speaking or group presentation skills 🎤
- Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
- Associate or bachelor's degree 🎓
- Bilingual in English and an additional language with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing
Additional Information
Driving Statement 🚗
This role is part of Humana's driver safety program. Applicants must hold a valid state driver's license and maintain personal vehicle liability insurance with minimum limits of 25/25/10 or higher, as required by the state. Driver license validation and MVR review will be conducted.
Language Proficiency Assessment
Associates communicating with members in languages other than English must complete a language proficiency assessment through an external vendor, including the federally administered Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test.
Schedule
Meetings with members may occur during evenings and weekends. Flexibility is vital for success in this role.
Training
The initial five weeks of employment require mandatory training and attendance.
Compensation 📈
The estimated annual range: $80,000 - $125,000 (including base pay and commission). Actual earnings vary based on individual performance and geographic location, with pay structure aligned with company policies and transparency standards.
Travel Requirements
While primarily remote, occasional travel for training or meetings at Humana offices may be necessary.
Work Schedule
Weekly hours: 40 hours/week
