About the Role

The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents. This is a field-based role, requiring residence within your designated territory to serve your local community. You will join a collaborative team of 812 Medicare Sales Field Agents, working closely with a Senior Manager and Regional Director dedicated to your success. Together, you'll help bring Humana's strategy to life by:

  • Deliver: Educate and build trust with individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, as well as options like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
  • Differentiate: Foster meaningful face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing personalized experiences that set Humana apart.
  • Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana's presence in your community by building strong relationships and becoming a trusted resource.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
  • Bilingual in English and Cantonese, fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in both languages
  • Reside within the designated local territory to effectively serve your community
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in members' homes, community events, and various community settings
  • Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher based on state requirements)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
  • Experience in selling Medicare products
  • Public speaking or presentation delivery experience
  • Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual in English and an additional language, with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing

Additional Information

Driving Requirements 🚗

This role is part of our driver safety program, requiring a valid state driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance. License validation and MVR reviews will be conducted, and insurance limits must meet or exceed state minimums or at least $25,000 per person/$25,000 per event/$10,000 property damage.

Language Proficiency Assessment 🗣️

Associates speaking with members in languages other than English must take a proficiency assessment through an external vendor. The ILR test, provided by the Federal Government, will be required to ensure language competency.

Work Schedule & Training 🗓️

Meetings with members may occur at night and on weekends, so flexibility is essential. The first five weeks of employment involve mandatory training attendance.

Compensation 💰

The estimated total annual compensation ranges from $80,000 to $125,000 for full-time employment (40 hours/week). This includes base pay and commissions with a guaranteed minimum. Earnings vary based on performance and location.

Travel & Hours 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

While primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required. The standard schedule is 40 hours per week.
