About the Role
The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents to serve their local communities. This is a field-based position requiring residence within the designated territory. You will work collaboratively under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director, contributing to Humana's mission to put customers at the center of everything we do. 🤝
What You'll Do in This Field-Based Role:
- Build Trust and Educate: Inform individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and supplementary offerings such as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Create Personalized Connections: Engage with communities through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits to provide memorable, face-to-face experiences that distinguish Humana.
- Drive Growth: Generate self-driven sales, achieve performance targets, and expand Humana's presence locally by building meaningful relationships within your community.

Required Qualifications
- Active Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese, fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in both languages
- Reside within the designated local territory to serve the community effectively
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in members' homes, community events, retail environments, and volunteer activities
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, per state requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
- Experience selling Medicare products
- Public speaking or presentation skills in group settings
- Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual in English and an additional language with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing
Additional Information
Driving Statement 🚗
This role is part of our company’s driver safety program. A valid state driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance are required, with minimum coverage limits of at least 25/25/10 or higher depending on state regulations. Driver license validation and MVR review will be conducted.
Language Proficiency Assessment 🗣️
Non-English speaking members require candidates to complete a proficiency assessment, such as the ILR test administered by the Federal Government, to ensure competency in the relevant language.
Schedule & Training
- Flexibility required as meetings with members may occur during nights and weekends.
- First five weeks are mandatory for training and onboarding.
Compensation 💰
Estimated annual compensation ranges from $80,000 to $125,000, including base pay and commissions. Actual earnings depend on individual performance and geographic location.
Travel & Hours
- This is a remote role, but occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
