About the Role

The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents. This is a field-based position requiring residence within the designated territory to effectively serve local communities. You will join a collaborative group of 812 agents, working under the guidance of senior leadership committed to your success. Together, you'll bring Humana's strategy to life: delivering fundamentals, differentiating through service, and expanding our reach.

What You'll Do

• Deliver: Build trust and educate individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, as well as additional offerings such as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
• Differentiate: Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing personalized experiences that distinguish Humana from competitors.
• Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana's market presence by becoming a trusted resource and building strong community relationships.

Required Qualifications

• Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Cantonese — speaking, reading, and writing fluently in both languages
• Residency within the designated local territory to serve the community effectively
• Comfort with daily face-to-face interactions in members' homes, community events, and other engagement settings
• Valid state driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher depending on state requirements)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
• Experience selling Medicare products
• Public speaking or group presentation experience
• Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language

Additional Information

Driving & Language Requirements 🚗🗣️

This role is part of Humana’s driver safety program. Applicants must hold a valid state driver’s license, maintain personal vehicle liability insurance meeting state minimums, and undergo license validation and MVR review. The insurance coverage should generally meet or exceed $25,000 per person, $25,000 per incident, and $10,000 for property damage, or higher based on state rules.

If speaking with members in languages other than English, candidates must pass an outside vendor’s language proficiency assessment, including the ILR test provided by the Federal Government.

Schedule & Training

• Work requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, based on appointment and event schedules.
• Mandatory first five weeks of training attendance.

Compensation & Travel

Estimated annual salary range: $80,000 - $125,000 (including base pay and commission). Actual earnings depend on individual performance and geographic location.

While primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary. Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours per week.
