About the Role

The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents who are passionate about serving their local communities. This is a field-based position requiring residency within the designated territory. You'll be working alongside a collaborative team of 812 Medicare Sales Field Agents, guided by a Senior Manager and Regional Director committed to your success.

Together, we'll bring Humana's strategy to life by:

• Delivering on the fundamentals and educating individuals about Medicare Advantage and additional plans like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
• Differentiating ourselves through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits to create personalized experiences.
• Growing Humana's presence by driving self-generated sales, meeting performance goals, and building community relationships.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do in This Field-Based Role:

• Deliver: Build trust and educate prospects about Humana's Medicare plans and ancillary insurance options.
• Differentiate: Establish face-to-face connections through community events, in-home visits, and grassroots efforts, providing personalized service.
• Grow: Expand market reach by sourcing self-generated sales, achieving targets, and nurturing community relationships.

Required Qualifications

• Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
• Bilingual in English and Cantonese (speaking, reading, writing fluently)
• Residency in the designated territory to serve the local community
• Comfort with face-to-face interactions in homes, community events, and local organizations
• Valid state driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance meeting minimum coverage (25/25/10 or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
• Experience selling Medicare products
• Public speaking or presentation skills
• Background supporting Value Based Care organizations
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
• Associate's or bachelor's degree
• Bilingual in English and an additional language

Additional Information

Driving Statement 🚗

This role is part of Humana's driver safety program, requiring valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance meeting state minimums or $25,000/$25,000/$10,000 coverage. State license verification and MVR review are mandatory.

Language Proficiency Assessment

Applicants speaking with members in languages other than English must pass a language proficiency test administered by a third-party vendor, including the ILR test provided by the Federal Government.

Schedule

Flexibility is essential as meetings with members may occur during evenings and weekends. Appointment setting and event participation are part of the role.

Training & Compensation

The first five weeks of employment involve mandatory training attendance.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 annually, including base pay and commission. Actual earnings depend on individual performance and geographic location.

Travel: Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required, despite primarily remote work.
