About the Role
The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents. This is a field-based role requiring residency within the designated territory to serve local communities. As part of a collaborative team of 812 agents, you'll work closely with a Senior Manager and Regional Director to bring Humana's strategic vision to life:

What You'll Do in This Field-Based Role
- Deliver: Build trust and educate individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, along with additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Differentiate: Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits—providing personalized experiences that set Humana apart.
- Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana's presence by becoming a valued community resource and developing strong relationships locally.

Required Qualifications
- Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese (fluent in speaking, reading, and writing)
- Residence within the designated local territory
- Comfort with daily face-to-face interactions, including visits to members' homes, community events, and volunteer activities
- Valid state driver’s license with proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher based on state requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
- Experience selling Medicare products
- Public speaking or group presentation skills
- Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language
Additional Information
Driving Statement 🚗
This role requires a valid state driver's license and ongoing vehicle insurance compliance as part of our driver safety program. Maintenance of the insurance limits is essential, with minimums typically including $25,000 bodily injury per person, $25,000 per incident, and $10,000 property damage, or higher depending on the state.
Language Proficiency Assessment 🗣️
Associates engaging with members in languages other than English must undergo a language proficiency assessment via an external vendor, including the federally administered Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test.
Schedule ⏰
Appointments and community events may require evening and weekend availability. Flexibility is key to success in this role.
Training 🏫
Mandatory attendance for the first five weeks of employment is required to ensure comprehensive onboarding and training.
Compensation 💰
The estimated annual pay range for full-time (40 hours/week) employment is $80,000 - $125,000. This includes base pay and commissions with a guaranteed minimum. Earnings vary based on individual performance and geographic location.
Travel 🌎
While the position is primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
Work Hours 🕒
The scheduled weekly hours are 40.
