About the Role

The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking dedicated Medicare Sales Field Agents who are committed to serving their local communities. This is a field-based position, requiring you to reside within the designated territory to effectively connect with prospects and members.

Working alongside a collaborative team of 812 agents, you will be guided by a Senior Manager and Regional Director to help bring Humana's strategic vision to life:

What You'll Do in This Field-based Role

  • Deliver: Build trust and educate individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings such as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage. 🩺
  • Differentiate: Create meaningful in-person connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing personalized experiences that set Humana apart. 🤝
  • Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and enhance Humana's presence in your community by building lasting relationships. 📈

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Cantonese (reading, speaking, writing)
  • Residency in the designated local territory
  • Comfort with daily face-to-face interactions at members' homes, community events, and other settings
  • Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, per state requirements)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
  • Experience selling Medicare products
  • Public speaking or group presentation skills
  • Experience supporting Value-Based Care organizations
  • Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Additional language proficiency in English and another language

Additional Information

Driving Statement 🚗: This role participates in Humana’s driver safety program, requiring a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance meeting state minimums or higher.

Language Proficiency 🤝: All associates must pass a language proficiency assessment if speaking in languages other than English, including the ILR test administered by the federal government.

Schedule 🗓️: Flexibility is key, as meetings with members may occur during evenings and weekends. Appointment and event times will vary.

Training 🎓: Mandatory first five weeks of training and attendance are required for all new hires.

Compensation & Travel

Pay Range 💰: $80,000 - $125,000 annually, including base salary and commissions. Actual earnings depend on individual performance and geographic location. Compensation may be higher or lower based on factors like experience and territory.

Travel ✈️: Occasional travel to Humana offices for training and meetings may be required, despite the remote nature of the role.

Scheduled Weekly Hours 🕒: 40 hours per week
