Role Overview

The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents. This is a field-based position requiring residence within the designated territory to serve local communities effectively. You will collaborate with a team of 812 agents, guided by a Senior Manager and Regional Director dedicated to your success.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Cantonese (speak, read, write fluently)
  • Reside within the designated local territory
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions at members' homes, community events, and local organizations
  • Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
  • Experience in selling Medicare products
  • Public speaking or presentation skills
  • Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language

Additional Information

Driving Statement 🚗

This role requires a valid state driver's license and maintained personal vehicle liability insurance, with coverage meeting a minimum of 25/25/10. License validation and MVR review are mandatory.

Language Proficiency Assessment 🗣️

Employees engaging with members in a language other than English must complete a language proficiency assessment through an external vendor, including the federally provided ILR test.

Schedule 🕒

Appointments and events may occur during evenings or weekends. Flexibility is essential for success in this role.

Training 📚

The first five weeks of employment are mandatory for onboarding and training attendance.

Compensation 💰

The estimated total annual package ranges from $80,000 to $125,000, incorporating base pay and commissions. Actual earnings vary based on individual performance and geographic location.

Travel ✈️

While primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.

Work Hours ⏰

40 hours per week, with schedule flexibility to meet member needs.
