About the Role
We are seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents to join our MarketPoint Career Channel Team. This is a field-based role, so your residence must be within the designated territory to effectively serve your local community. You will be part of a collaborative team of 812 agents, working under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director dedicated to your success.
Together, you will help bring Humana’s strategy to life by:
- Deliver: Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, along with additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Differentiate: Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing personalized experiences that set Humana apart.
- Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana’s presence within your community by building strong relationships.

Required Qualifications ✅
- Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese, fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in both languages
- Residence within the designated local territory
- Comfortable with face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, community events, and local organizations
- Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher)
Preferred Qualifications 🌟
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance Licenses
- Experience selling Medicare products
- Public speaking or presentation skills for groups
- Background supporting Value-Based Care organizations
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Additional language proficiency in English and another language
Additional Information 🔍
Driving Statement 🚗
This role is part of our driver safety program and requires maintaining a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance. Insurance limits should meet state requirements or a minimum of $25,000 per person and per accident, with $10,000 for property damage.
Language Proficiency Assessment 🗣️
Employees speaking with members in languages other than English must complete a language proficiency assessment provided by an outside vendor and the Federal Government’s ILR test.
Schedule & Training 🗓️
- Availability for appointments and events during nights and weekends is essential.
- First five weeks of employment are mandatory training periods.
Compensation & Travel 💰✈️
The pay range is estimated at $80,000 - $125,000 per year, combining base salary and commissions, depending on geographic location and individual performance. Actual earnings vary accordingly.
While primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.
