Work collaboratively with global business leaders and IT professionals across multiple regions to support emerging robotic businesses and expanding regional offices. 🌍🤖

About the Role

You will be integral to supporting our global IT infrastructure, including communication tools, core systems like PCs, mobile devices, chat solutions, video conferencing, Active Directory, MDM, GSuite, asset management, and IT operations. Engage with global users, build scalable support processes, assess new tools, and lead deployment initiatives across our worldwide offices. 🌐💻

Key Responsibilities

  • Global IT Business Partner: Identify opportunities for productivity improvements, evaluate tools, and plan/execute deployments.
  • IT Infrastructure Administration: Maintain global infrastructure components such as Active Directory, MDM, VPN, and set up collaboration tools like G Suite, Office 365, JIRA, and ticketing systems.
  • Technical Support Engineer: Create user documentation, respond to support inquiries, and resolve issues related to tools and infrastructure.
  • Technical Support Leader: Develop support processes, monitor KPIs, and continuously improve performance.
  • Project Manager: Plan and execute IT projects such as AD/SSO migrations and global technology rollouts, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Passion for robotics, belief in the power of IT, with a business-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese at a business level
  • Experience setting up and administering office devices (network printers, conferencing systems, etc.)
  • Knowledge of installing and configuring PCs (Windows and Mac) and applications like Office 365, G Suite, antivirus software, Slack, and Zoom
  • Experience supporting and repairing office devices
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills to build relationships across all levels globally
  • Optimistic, positive attitude, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a startup environment
  • Strong commitment to business goals, delivering results, and providing world-class IT services
  • Quick learner, team player, and customer service oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience and ability to mentor and motivate teams
  • Knowledge of risk management strategies
  • Experience managing cross-border projects and working within multicultural teams
  • Ability to develop and implement a long-term, strategic IT vision with stakeholder alignment
  • Proficiency in managing priorities balancing customer experience, performance, and support
  • ITIL certification or experience is a plus
  • Experience working in multinational or diverse cultural settings
