Key Responsibilities 📝🔗

• Conduct interpretation services between English and Cantonese across industries like medical, legal, and customer service
• Guarantee accuracy, neutrality, and clarity while preserving tone, intent, and emotion
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
• Manage call flow professionally, intervening respectfully for clarification when needed
• Display emotional intelligence during high-pressure or emotionally charged interactions
• Utilize active listening, note-taking, and memory techniques to handle longer exchanges effectively
• Stay within the interpreter’s role, avoiding personal opinions or advice
• Participate in training and coaching sessions to continually improve skills
• Use basic computer tools (MS Office, internal platforms) for call management and logging

Required Qualifications ✅📋

• High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
• Fluency in English and Cantonese (B2+ level or higher)
• Ability to pass language and interpretation skills assessments
• Minimum of 6 months experience in call center, customer service, or interpreting roles
• Strong verbal communication skills with professional bilingual accuracy
• Capable of acting professionally in fast-paced, emotionally complex situations
• Reliable, organized, and responsible with time management skills
• Comfortable with assertive communication and session control
• Basic computer proficiency, including typing and MS Office
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace conducive to active listening
• Stable internet connection (no cellular data or hotspots)
• Identity verification: Valid government-issued photo ID required during recruitment and training
